Following completion of her residency in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Weber practiced Emergency Medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and continues to serve there as Emeritus Faculty with the Department of Emergency Medicine. She pursued a career in education prior to entering the medical field in 1981. Since completion of her residency in 1988, Dr. Weber has been actively involved in the education and training of emergency physicians. She is co-author of Preparing for the Oral Board Exam in Emergency Medicine (4^th, 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th Editions), a consulting contributor to all chapters of the 5^th Edition of Preparing for the Written Board Exam in Emergency Medicine, and a consulting contributor to the 9^th Edition of Preparing for the Oral Board Exam in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Weber is also the author of EM4LIFE (2004 - 2015 Editions) and of Questions for Written Board Preparation in Emergency Medicine, and Questions for Board Preparation in Emergency Medicine (2^nd Edition).

During the past 28 years, Dr. Weber has devoted an ever increasing portion of her time to preparing emergency physicians for board exams (ABEM/ABPS/Osteopathic and Canadian) through her writings, courses and oral board tutorials ,with excellent results. Dr. Weber was instrumental in developing the Oral Board Review Course offered by the Illinois College of Emergency Physicians and continues to serve as course director of this successful program. She also serves as faculty of the Emergency Medicine Board Review Intensive Course (EMBRI) offered by the Illinois College of Emergency Physicians, and developed the EM4LIFE lecture series in 2003, which she continues to present.

As an Emergency Physician and educator, Dr. Weber provides a unique insight into the medical education needs of the specialty and the specific needs of candidates preparing for their board exams.
